Lifesaving Course
We have been offered the opportunity for an adult to train to become a Lifeguard so that we can open the pool ourselves on a Sunday, Wednesday and Friday morning. The club lifeguarding duties will involve lifeguarding for an hour

Extra swim session for Gold and Silver Elite
There will be an extra (one off) session on Tuesday 22 from 730-830pm for Gold and Silver Elite squads. Please do come along.

Volunteering: An open letter to parents
We share the sentiment indicated on the Scottish Swimming website that “volunteers are the lifeblood of a swimming club”. One of our swimmers’ parents has written an open letter encouraging participation. See the letter under the Club > New Parents
Annual General Meeting – AGM – 2017
The AGM will be held at 6.45pm on Saturday 2nd September 2017 at the Helensburgh Sailing Club to be followed by the Prize Giving. Please refer to documents relevant to this year’s meeting on the Governance & Policy page.

Extra training sessions – Aug 19 and 22
Because of the coaching course we are hosting, there will be a couple of extra sessions at the beginning of the season. Saturday 19 August – 12pm – 130pm: swimmers from Bronze, Silver, Silver Elite and Gold welcome. Tuesday 22

Trophies
A quick reminder that all trophies should be returned to Aileen at the pool as soon as possible so they can be engraved ready for Prize giving on Saturday 2 September. Please make sure they are cleaned prior to returning
Fun night
Tuesday is the FINAL training session for the season. We have organised the inflatable at popular request. The sessions will run as follows: 6pm – 640pm Bronze and Silver 640pm – 715pm Silver Elite, Gold and Fitness Summer training session

Club Open 200m IM competition – 9 June
Open 200m IM competition will be held on Friday 9 June from 7pm to 830pm. Training will be as normal for Bronze, Copper and Bronze Development from 6-7pm. No need to sign up. Just turn up on the night.
Sunday training – 4 June
Training is cancelled from 730-830am next week due to limited number of coaches available. Training as normal from 830am.
1500m Open event – 11June 730am – 830am
