IMPORTANT: 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Helensburgh ASC would like to invite all club members and parents to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held at 6.00pm on Friday 13th September 2019 in the main function room in the Commodore Hotel. The agenda and proposed nominations for the Management Committee for 2019-20 are posted on our governance/AGM webpage, which also has the minutes from the previous year.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the AGM.

IMPORTANT: Annual Membership 2019-2020

Annual Membership Fees and SASA Affiliation Fees are now due for payment. Completed forms should be returned with fees to the Membership Secretary.  Forms have been emailed to members and are also available to download from the Membership page of this website.

Urgent: Current Committee Vacancies

The Club is looking for volunteers including a new Treasurer and for two or three individuals to act as Assistant Internal Gala Convenors

Treasurer
Lee Humphries plans to step down as Club treasurer at the end of our 2019/2020 season. The Club would like to manage the transition of that role over time, so it is looking to recruit a new treasurer now.

Assistant Internal Gala Convenors
In order to help with internal galas, the Club is looking for volunteers to help our Internal Gala Convenor.

Other Vacancies
Fundraising Co-ordinator, Social Co-ordinator and Training Co-ordinator. These roles currently remain unfilled.

Welcome to HASC!

Helensburgh Amateur Swimming Club was founded in 1891 and is based at Helensburgh swimming pool. The aim of the Club is to provide a quality teaching programme for young swimmers with a range of abilities with the goal of helping swimmers achieve their potential within a supportive and friendly environment. The Club also offers a swim fitness programme for non-competitive swimmers. The club is run by parent volunteers and currently has 82 members ranging in age from 7 to 19 years old.
